Ventum features the participation of the Heredia Symphony Orchestra, under the conducting direction of Eddie Mora, and includes works by Alejandro Cardona, Eddie Mora himself, and Gabriela Ortiz, three of the most outstanding composers in the region, with Escuer as the soloist.

The pieces that make up the material are “Zachic V” by Cardona, a title derived from the Mayan name for the bird known in Nahuatl as zenzontl and in Spanish as cenzontle or sinsonte, the bird of a hundred voices; “Altar de viento,” one of the musical altars in Ortiz’s catalog, which have a religious aspiration; and “Sine Nomine” by Mora, written for C flute and G flute.
